The Philippine Bodybuilding & Fitness Sport & Industry mourns the demise of one of its athletes and champions in the prestigious “MR. PHILIPPINES” contests from the 80’s, Mr. ERWIN CHIONGSON of Iloilo City. He died on September 28, 2014 at the age of 58.
ERWIN was an accredited member of the Philippine Team which garnered local and international awards and placed the Philippines in a formidable place in the sport, especially in the Asian arena.
His ashes were brought to Quezon City where a requiem Mass was celebrated at Santo Domingo Church on October 7, 2014. The NCR bodybuilding and fitness family was represented at the memorial service by Mr. Venson Ang of Star Samson Gym and Mr. Lito Paraiso of Arena Gym.
